CENTRAL OREGON CAR SHOWS
RULES & REGULATIONS
By registering for or attending any Central Oregon Car Shows event, all participants, vendors, and spectators agree to abide by the following rules and regulations. These rules are intended to provide a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly experience for everyone involved.
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
All participating vehicles must:

Be in safe operating condition.

Carry valid automobile liability insurance as required by Oregon law.

Have a current registration if driven on public roadways.

Have a readily accessible fire extinguisher inside the vehicle at all times during the event.
Event staff reserves the right to deny entry to any vehicle deemed unsafe.
NO BURNOUTS POLICY
Burnouts are strictly prohibited at all Central Oregon Car Shows events.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Tire spinning
-
Power braking
-
Donuts
-
Drifting
-
Excessive acceleration causes loss of traction

Any intentional display of vehicle power that creates tire smoke, tire marks, or unsafe conditions
Any participant observed performing a burnout, attempting a burnout, or engaging in exhibition driving will be immediately removed from the event.
In addition, the vehicle owner and driver will be banned from participating in any Central Oregon Car Shows event for a period of three (3) years.
No warnings will be issued.
Event staff reserves the sole authority to determine whether a violation has occurred.
SAFE VEHICLE OPERATION
All vehicles must be operated safely and responsibly at all times.
Participants must obey all directions from event staff, volunteers, venue personnel, and law enforcement officers.
Reckless driving, excessive speed, unsafe vehicle operation, or disregard for pedestrian safety will result in removal from the event.
NO SMOKING OR VAPING
Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco, nicotine, marijuana, or similar products are prohibited near display vehicles.
Participants and spectators are asked to move to designated smoking areas away from show vehicles.
This policy helps protect vehicles, attendees, and the overall event environment.
LOOK, BUT PLEASE DON'T TOUCH
We encourage everyone to enjoy the vehicles on display.
Please remember:
LOOK, BUT DO NOT TOUCH.
Do not lean on, sit in, open, enter, or handle any vehicle unless specifically invited by the owner.
Many vehicles represent significant investments of time, money, and personal pride. Please respect the owners and their property.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
ALCOHOL AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES
Drivers may not operate vehicles while impaired by alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, or any substance that affects their ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
Any participant found to be impaired may be removed from the event and referred to law enforcement.
CONDUCT
Participants, vendors, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner.
Harassment, threatening behavior, disorderly conduct, abusive language, or disruptive actions will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
LIABILITY
Participants attend and participate at their own risk.
Central Oregon Car Shows, event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, host venues, municipalities, and affiliated organizations assume no responsibility for personal injury, property damage, theft, or loss.
Participants are responsible for their vehicles, belongings, and actions.
EVENT STAFF AUTHORITY
Event staff reserves the right to deny entry or remove any participant, vendor, spectator, or vehicle whose actions are deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with the goals of the event.
All decisions made by event management are final.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT
Central Oregon Car Shows events are intended to be family-friendly community gatherings. All attendees are expected to help maintain a positive atmosphere that reflects well on the automotive hobby and the communities that host our events.
By participating in any Central Oregon Car Shows event, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with these rules and regulations.
